Shian Cottam

Registered Legal Executive

Shian joined Thomson Wilson at the beginning of 2021 as a Trainee Legal Assistant in the Property/Commercial team. She has since completed her diploma in Legal Executive Studies, as well as her Bachelor of Business. Shian is a Registered Legal Executive and now works as our System & Training Specialist.

In her role, Shian is responsible for staff training and onboarding, developing and improving systems and processes, ensuring systems and practices meet compliance requirements, and helping drive continuous improvement across the firm. She also provides legal executive and trust accounting cover when required.

Shian is an active member of the legal executive community and currently serves as Treasurer of the LENZ Northland branch.
