3.1. Questionnaires do not constitute legal advice.The online questionnaires contain general, non-specific information designed to help people to fill out the questionnaires.In using a questionnaire you acknowledge that the information in the questionnaires does not constitute legal advice.

3.2. Accuracy of information you provide. You confirm that all information you submit in an online questionnaire is complete and accurate.If your information changes you must provide Thomson Wilson with updated information. Once you have submitted your information using an online questionnaire you will not be able to change it online.To change your information please CONTACT US via email, post or by calling us on (09) 430 4380.

Thomson Wilson not engaged to represent you.This website and the online questionnaires do not constitute an offer to represent you.When you submit an online questionnaire this will constitute a request by you for Thomson Wilson to represent you but will not create a lawyer-client relationship. If Thomson Wilson accepts your instructions Thomson Wilson will send you with an engagement letter confirming this and setting out the terms applying to the engagement. Thomson Wilson reserves the right not to accept your instructions if Thomson Wilson has cause to refuse to act under the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act (Lawyers: Conduct and Client Care) Rules 2008, in which case Thomson Wilson will inform you of this by contacting you using the contact details you have provided.

6. If you engage us to perform legal services, our terms of engagement will apply

If you engage Thomson Wilson to perform legal services then the terms of engagement set out in any engagement letter we provide to you will apply. Where there is any inconsistency between these terms of use of our website and the terms of engagement to perform legal services, the terms of engagement will prevail.
