Andrew Neill

Associate

Andrew leads the firm’s Trust Administration team and specialises in the areas of trusts, asset protection and estate planning.  Andrew also provides a wide range of general property and commercial services. 

Andrew is particularly focused on the protection of wealth and the transfer of intergenerational assets and routinely acts in the formation and management of complex discretionary trusts.  The passing of the Trusts Act 2019 and the new domestic reporting obligations are examples of the ever-changing landscape of trust law.

Andrew grew up on a family sheep farm in Mid-Canterbury and obtained Law and Commerce degrees from the University of Otago.  He began his career at a Big Four accounting firm before switching to the law, where he has opted for the fantastic lifestyle of the Winterless North.

LLB, BCom (Major in Finance), University of Otago.
